The North Bay and District Hospital (NBDH) is making history! Construction on our state-of-the-art facility, located at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, is underway and on time to open its doors in early 2011. The NBDH and the Northeast Mental Health Centre (NEMHC) will be creating an exciting partnership by co-locating facilities side-by-side to form the North Bay Regional Health Centre. The new Health Centre will be a one-stop location offering a state-of-the-art acute care hospital and a modern, recovery-focused mental health facility that serves northeast Ontario, all housed in one cooperative health care campus. It will be the place where families in our region come for care, regardless of whether they are facing physical or mental health challenges.
